LaShawn Talley serves as a Small Business
Specialist and Assistant Treasurer at HSBC Bank. In this
capacity, she maintains a commercial portfolio of over 800
clients and is responsible for training Assistant Managers
and Small Business Specialists to work in the various branches.
Further, Ms. Talley has over 19 years of experience in the
financial services arena. She holds both a Series 7 and
Series 63 License.

- is the President of The Tara Dowdell Group, LLC, a consulting
firm specializing in preparing companies and organizations
to compete more effectively for private sector and public
sector resources. She accomplishes this objective through
an integrated strategy consisting of relationship building,
strategic planning and public relations. Aside from her
consulting services, she offers various workshops to the
public on effective strategies for accessing government
resources such as grants, low interest loans and services.
Further, she is a prolific public speaker and has served
a keynote speaker or a special guest speaker for organizations
and institutions such as the National Urban League, the
Federal Executive Board Women In Government Committee, the
Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, the State University
of New York and Douglas College to name a few. In addition
to these noteworthy accomplishments, Ms. Dowdell has the
distinction of having competed on the third season of the
hit reality show the Apprentice. She is a graduate of the
University of Virginia where she received a B.A. in Government.
